1. On any ESI phone within the system, press PROG/HELP.
Note: is using a ESI phone that has separate PROGRAM and HELP keys, press PROGRAM.
The normal station programming menu prompt will begin to play.


2. Stop the prompt by pressing HOLD.


3. Enter the Administrator password and then press #.


4. Access Function 61 by pressing 6 1.


5. After the prompt, press the number of the Branch ID you wish to record.
i.e. The normal main branch id number is 1, so enter a 1.


6. To record the day time main greeting (either for the first time or to replace an existing one), Press 1. The
system will then prompt you through the normal recording of the greeting.


7. When finished recording the day time main greeting, press #. The system with then play back the newly
recorded greeting. If it is acceptable, press # to accept; if not, go back to step 6.


8. The system will then play the night time greeting. To record the night time greeting (either for the first time
or to replace an existing one), Press 1. The system will then prompt you through the normal recording of
the greeting.


9. When finished recording the night time greeting, press #. The system with then play back the newly
recorded greeting. If it is acceptable, press # to accept; if not, go back to step 8.


10. The system will then play the second day time greeting. To record the second day time greeting (either for
the first time or to replace an existing one), Press 1. The system will then prompt you through the normal
recording of the greeting.


11. When finished recording the second day time greeting, press #. The system with then play back the newly
recorded greeting. If it is acceptable, press # to accept; if not, go back to step 10.


12. The system will then play the second night time greeting. To record the second night time greeting (either
for the first time or to replace an existing one), Press 1. The system will then prompt you through the normal
recording of the greeting.


13. When finished recording the second night time greeting, press #. The system with then play back the newly
recorded greeting. If it is acceptable, press # to accept; if not, go back to step 10.


14. Press # to accept the greeting.
The greetings with now play when your system in put in DAY, NGT, DAY2 or NGT2 mod through the use of
a programmed day/night key.
